In December 2018, the Coltauco Municipal Education Administration Department conducted a stocktaking to observe the results of the work carried out with the Foundation's Un Buen Comienzo Improvement Network. Schools that had just joined the network had 45% of children in pre-kindergarten and kindergarten with chronic absenteeism (missing more than 10% of school days during the year), while those that had been working with UBC for more than a year had a maximum of 12%.
